Birla's fair and transparent refund terms

This policy applies to all services provided by Birla and is subject to the terms outlined below.
At Birla, we strive to provide exceptional IT services and maintain transparent business practices. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and project cancellations.
We understand that circumstances may change, and we are committed to handling refund requests fairly while protecting the interests of both our clients and our business.
Our refund policy varies based on the type of service provided by Birla:
Full Refund Available: If you cancel during the project planning and requirement gathering phase (before active development begins), you are eligible for a 100% refund of any advance payments made.
Partial Refund: Once development work has commenced, refunds will be calculated based on work completed. You will be charged for the work already completed plus any non-recoverable costs incurred.
No Refund: Once a project is 75% complete or delivered, no refunds will be provided. However, we will work with you to address any concerns or issues with the delivered solution.
Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
5-7 business days for refund request review and approval
7-14 business days for refund processing and transfer
3-5 additional business days for bank processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the following methods:
When partial refunds are applicable, Birla uses the following calculation method:
Completed Work %: Assessed based on project milestones achieved
Non-Recoverable Expenses: Third-party licenses, hosting setup, domain purchases, etc.
In case of genuine emergencies (medical, financial hardship, force majeure events), Birla may consider special accommodations on a case-by-case basis.
For ongoing subscription services, cancellations can be made at any time with 30 days notice. No refunds will be provided for unused portions of prepaid subscription periods.
Maintenance and support services are non-refundable once the service period begins. However, unused portions may be credited toward future services.
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate the matter through the following steps:
Birla reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Existing projects will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of project commencement.
